lemon grass tea-without heating?

I've never used lemongrass before. I was searching for recipes and they all call for boiled water and steeping the the stalks. I was wondering if I could just make sun tea out of it?

Sun tea was the first thing I thought of when I saw the subject...that should work shouldn't it?

I dunno. It's the fresh stuff...I think I'll make 2 batches-1 with boling water for the SADders and 1 in the sun. If the sun tea works, I'll secretly ditch the boiled stuff.

yes you can use it. just make sure you strain it before it spoils.
