In the Green Star video juliano says you can make a steak using nut butter, mushrooms and spices.
Anyone have such a recipe? I may contact him and ask.
Thanks

Probably in his book.

Is there a newer one than "Raw"? That's all I have and I don't recall any steak-like recipe. Burgers and meat-loaf-style, which we all know, but I don't recall seeing anything that comes out like the remembered texture of steak, which is "tougher" than either meatloaf or burgers.
Anyone know about this at all? I'm curious, too. :)

Well I decided to just invent it yesterday until I accidentaly fell on his meat loaf recipe while looking for his gravy to put on it which was pretty much what he was describing in the green star video, so once I saw it I started adding some of the spices he used there.
I think I had used this:
1 1/2 cups walnuts
3 porteenie mushrooms
olive oil
ginger
herbs
I don't really remember the rest, but I put it in the food processor as it works well with walnuts. Then I shaped it into 2 steaks and dehydrated them for maybe 30 minutes to warm them up, and put Juliano's gravy on them. They were quite good but I'm sure I can make them even better.
