You guys probably already know about this, but it was a wonderful revelation to me!

Last nite -- after having seen a raw vegan chocolate pudding recipe -- I mashed up half an avocado with some cacao powder, squirted a little agave nectar on it, sprinkled in a little vanilla extract and mixed it all up. OH. MY. GOD. The closest thing I can come up with to describe it is it's like eating chocolate icing straight out of the can!!

This stuff was so good I CANNOT stop thinking about it! It's so weird to eat something so decadent knowing it's actually good for you!

P.S. I know the vanilla extract is probably not raw -- I strive for 70-80% raw each day.

I imagine this works just as well with carob?? I find that cacao is so expensive that I'm still sticking with carob for now. But curious if it's as decadent and rich with it as with cacao? :)

I haven't tried it with carob (I'm new to the raw game) but I imagine it would taste pretty good!

Yum! Now you have me thinking about it. :D

I have actually made this concoction as an "ice cream", with some bananas added in. I have to get some bananas...!

Ummmm!

it is gorgeous!!

It tastes EVEN BETTER if you mix equal parts of cacao and carob!:D if you half the agave necter and also add a date or two it fills you up to your eyeballs.
You could try making you own vanillia essence? agave necter in a jar scrape some vanillia pod in and leave in fridge?
