HI all~

I've made a few of the dressings in Alyssa's book and, so far, I am mostly tasting the ACV and nothing else. I just made the cilantro vinaigrette and I can't taste anything but the vinegar :(. Am I doing something wrong? The recipe calls for 1 cup, which seems like alot to me...I'm a little frustrated because the recipes all sound so delicious and I'd love to fall in love with one of them. I DO like the taste of ACV, but this is intense. :o

I'm wondering, too, how long I can expect a dressing to keep in the fridge--a few days? A week or longer? Thanks everybody!

Try the tahini dressing and the pad thai sauce. No ACV in either of these (I think) and they're both great. Maybe you can decrease the ACV in the others to your liking. Personally, I'm crazy about raw ACV. :)

Soooo......

I tried the cilantro vinaigrette on a big sald and it was DELICIOUS!

Problem solved!

I'd still like to know how long I can expect it to last in the fridge. It would probably take over a week to consume it all in my house. :)

I will give you my favorite original (meaning I got this from my tinsee little brain)
1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
1 1/2 Tablespoon Flax Seed Oil or Udo Oil (you can use more)
1/2 Tablespoon Braggs (you can use more but this is salty so be careful if you're not familiar with it. Sea Salt will work as well or Nama Shoyu)

I make this in a big bowl and after I stir it with a wisk, I add the spinach, red peppers, cauliflower & cucumber. Delish!
