Hello Pistachios, it is so nice to have you joining us here. I really like the photo you chose. It beautifully represents what sort of food we now focus our attention on. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. On many occasions I've seen posts that I could have provided some input but wasn't signed-up. However now I can and look forward to doing so.

Hello Jacsam:
Thanks for your welcome. No, I'm not new to raw foods. I became acquainted with it by chance several years ago, in a pharmacy of all places :o , browsing through a book in their racks while waiting to pick up an item for a friend. It peaked my interest enough to return and purchase the book, and it went onwards from there.
I'm not 100% raw, more like 80-90%, usually on the higher end most of the time. Every so often I may nibble at something processed, then my body promptly reminds me I shouldn't have touched it in the first place. The good thing is that even if there are setbacks, the net result is a positive progress which you get to see and enjoy the results--even if they are relatively minor changes--rather quickly.
