That's it, in a nutshell!!!

On average, do most of you who have been fairly faithful, or stringently faithful to raw feel more beautiful, or attractive if you will, on raw foods?? Skin, etc? I just finished reading "You're Right to be Beautiful" by Tanya Zavasta, who definitely believes this so.

So.....I would love the input of others....

Please look at the picture of people on this board as they have changed. Beauty comes from the soul - and with RAW, I ain't no slouch. ;)

My skin has less bumps and is smoother, I don't look so tired and drained, and I've lost a little weight. So, yes, eating raw has enhanced the way I look. I've been mostly raw for almost five months (with occasional sushi binges).

My husband and I are constantly being told we look like we're getting younger instead of older! My mother-in-law told me today I look like a little girl.

When I first went raw, I was in my 40's and after being raw for about 2 weeks, people started asking me if I had had a face lift or what? Because they could actually see a dramatic change.

Now, I have gone raw again, I am in my 50's and people think I look 10 to 20 years younger than last year.

Now, they "KNOW" I've had a face lift, which I haven't, and they "KNOW" I've gotten a stomache stapling, which I haven't, and they "KNOW" that I have a portrait in the attic (Dorian Gray on my way)LOL

So, the answer is YES, I also "feel" that when you start eating the way that you are intended to eat, then you become a calmer and more tender individual, you stress less about the little things, and all things become little things, and so your whole demeanor becomes more sweet and angelic.

I truly see raw people as having a totally different aura around them than cooked people.

Alissa'a aura is pale aqua, and golden with big white sparks, and pink flares, on her video.

Victoria Boutenkos is very bright emerald green, with white sparklers in it.

Cooked food people, often have dark brown, or murky auras, and often have splotches like roundish spots that are often opaque and black or gray.

What is interesting, is that when you tell them this, in an aura reading, they usually have some dis-ease in that area of the body, that actually shows in thier auric field.

Guess, you didn't need all of that information, but it just came out of my fingers onto the keyboard, so I will leave it.

Other than loosing weight , having much more energy , the exercise thats resulted in that energy , having less stress b/c no matter WHAT happens in my life Im still raw and vibrant , you can see less stress on my face nothing really changed physically. The main change came from inside , I can accept myself and strive for the best ME , not the best her or the best "kate moss" or "enter name here" ,the best me and I havent gotten on the scale in weeks-its amaising to think that raw food could do that ,but it does!

YES!! OK, apart from the visible weight loss, smoother, more supple skin, whiter teeth, stronger nails...You look as good as you feel and with a high Raw diet I feel MUCH better than I did on my old SAD (though not quite as bad as it might have been... ) diet

I've been mostly raw since this past October. I have been told I glow. But the real compliment came from my older sister this past April. She told me I look great while we were together on vacation, but then when she got home, she had to sit down and write me a note telling me how great I looked. I think she is trying to convince me! (Plus she is now calling me about her aches and pains -- I figure in time she'll be joining me.

And my husband can't leave his hands off me. I'm not complaining. . . infact, almost scared if I actually get my act together and become 100% RAW.

My greatest hope is for all the ucky inner feelings to escape and be replaced by pure love. And that is real beauty in my opinion.

I have felt an inner beauty that I haven't felt in a very long time. I am much more calm than every before, which decreases my level of stress, smooths out my whole face, allows me to sit up straight instead of being hunched over (my stress always collected in my neck and shoulders) and I smile. A LOT!

That alone makes me more attractive, I think. Plus my hair is stronger, growing like a weed and shiny. My skin is smoother. My nails are stronger (I actually have to trim them instead of them breaking off.) It is all good!

I have only been 100% raw a little over a month now, and I am about to have my 39th birthday. The other day while I was getting dressed for the day, I realize something about my face looked different. I couldn't quite put my finger on it so I asked my husband. He said "I know what it is, you look younger." I think it is more like I am more centered, more rested, and I am lacking in nutritional difficencies. I have also noticed my nails are a little stronger and I no longer have the little bumps on my forehead that I had before.

If you have any doubt at all just consider that you truly are, or rather become, what you eat. If you eat garbage, guess what your skin will look like. But if you eat live, fresh food, you will glow with nourishment.

Best wishes

I love hearing people say what they love about being raw....

I think another question, or angle, is that, some people have an attitude that you can almost achieve some sort of homeostasis w/being raw. Is that the right word? Any other thoughts???

Coming back from a walk this afternoon, all I could think about was how happy and clear I feel. When I got back I called some friends I hadn't spoken with in a couple of months just to say hi I missed them.

It's not quite two weeks yet raw, but if joy is beautiful, then I am already gorgeous!

Hmmm , well I feel less "cloudy" , so I have less blocks on my creativity. I also feel more fairy-ish :p

Since homeostasis is the ability to maintain a relatively constant internal environment. - I would agree 100%. When not raw, I have chronic conditions that are excerbated, with raw - I am in balance and today, I was told by some women (and you know how we can be), that I was glowing abd beautiful - so I guess raw is working here :D
