Hello! I am a new member and I am from Philadelphia PA. I am a nursing student at Thomas Jefferson University and will graduate this May! Then I will get my own kitchen space and utilities so I can prepare my raw foods. Currently, I live in a dorm and it is hard to have access to much. I am on the Master Cleanse and it is day #9 for me...feeling great! I want to be ready to do this 100% when I am finished my cleanse (day#20 or #30...which ever is first for my tongue to turn pink). :D Hope to hear from others! Anyone else from Philadelphia PA? I am going to take the level one chef course at South Street's Whole Foods Market so I can be knowledgeable. I would like to inform my patients of this eating style and want to know what I am talking about before doing so. :D
Sincerely,
Vanessa Liu

Vanessa - WELCOME! Feel free to print out and handout my testimony (complete with photos) - see it down below at my signature line. I am living proof that we are what we eat.
Do you have Alissa's book and DVD? These are wonderful (the best out there) to get the word out about raw eating.

Hey there Vanessa! Welcome!! My Mom is from Philly and I have a bunch of relatives there. It's a cool city.
Your future patients are BLESSED BEYOND WORDS. I wish you were my nurse during my lengthy hosptializations! :) I had wonderful nurses, but a Raw nurse would've been heavenly. Bless you!
I also did the master cleanse for 30 days before beginning to eat raw foods last spring. I've cleansed a few times since and will begin another soon. You should check out the 40 day master cleanse challenge thread. My tongue is bright pink, moreso from eating raw foods. I did the cleanses primarily to heal my liver and colon. My tongue always remained somewhat white, even after completing really long juice fasts, so that was my clue I was battling candida. It's gone now, againt thanks to Raw foods. Something to consider only if your tongue happens to stay white even when you're done with the MC, don't fret over it, it will be pink eventually.
I wish you every success as you embrace this lifestyle. Have fun with your new kitchen. :D
Love,
Crystal
