Has anyone heard of the p&b (pysillium and bensonite...sorry for the wrong spelling) cleanse? Or p&b shakes? I was just curious. I just saw the most disturbing pictures on the internet of the alien looking "stuff" that comes out of you when on this cleanse. It is complete opposite of the master cleanse in regard to how and what you eliminate from the colon. I don't know if this is encouraged in the rawfood world? The long, fat, ropy, slimy (forgive me:eek: ) stuff that you release over a period of three to six months daily seems to be more effective than just the liquid that you release with MC:confused: Anyway, again, just curious.
Thanks:) Again i'm sorry for the graphics but that is nothing compared to real pictures from real people I just saw..LOL.. Although my face is not laughing...I'm still disturbed by those images:( To think that stuff is inside of us...Anyway, this is becoming longer than I intended...lol..Let me go now...

I've actually passed mucoid plaque by using the MC... kind've a scarey experience  ... I passed it before I knew about mucoid plaque! It was a couple of months later when I found a website that explained what it was! so ... doing the MC fast enabled my body to rid it'self of that... and I felt so gret afterwards!!
so -- when people say it doesn't exist... I say... well.... I'm convinced! ;)

Hello! I am a new member of this site and am currently on day#9 of the MC. I am feeling great! I too know all too well of the stuff that is passed! :D Anyway...I am considering taking one of Alissa Cohen's certification courses in Raw foods because I want to be ready when I am finished my 20th or 30th day on the MC (waiting for my tongue to turn pink). I don't know anything about raw foods and want to convert to the lifestyle. I am currently living in a dorm, so I am limited in kitchen utilities/space, but will be getting my own place in a couple of months. If you have any advise for me, please do tell!!! I'm so excited!!!!

Vanessa Liu: I'm not sure how many people will see your post under the title of this thread? You may want to start a new thread in the raw and living food discussion section? I'm not sure of any suggestions considering that most of my food prep involves my food processor and dehydrator, etc... But I'm sure there are other more experienced rawbies on this forum that will probably have better suggestions/ideas/encouragement for you. Congradulations on making it to day 9 of the MC and for your new decision to go 100% raw. You are in for a very exciting and liberating journey. This lifestyle is so amazing, not just physically, but also mentally, emotionally, etc...
Good Luck:)

Vanessa Liu ... I would HIGHLY recommend ANYONE who can take Alissa's certification courses - DO SO!! You will not be disappointed....
here is a link to my blog - where I wrote about my experience at the class...
http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/blogs/blog-11800/entry-9358/
this experience changed my life and everyone that attended felt the same way... it was one of the best thing I have EVER done for myself. I will always be grateful to Alissa and Elaine (who helps Alissa teach the classes) for everything ... all the wisdom and the love that they gave so freely gave to me... it was wonderful. These principals that are taught are not just for the RAW FOOD JOURNEY --- but how to be successful in WHATEVER you endeavor to do....
blessings.... if you go - you will never regret it!
