Got Alissa's book today!!

Wow! I was so surprised whan a 4lb box arrived at my door! I had no idea the book wos so big LOL Anyway, I am very EXCITED to finally be able to make some of those yummy recipes. I am going to try out the zucuinni and yellow squash pasta and marinara. I wanted to make the pesto but that will have to be another time since I don't have the ingredients for pesto just now. Anyway just wanted top share my excitement!! :p

Yes thanks! I did read that and thought it very good advice!! Had tha "pasta with marinara" Was so yummy!! No I did not follow the recipe exactly, really as far as what I put in the sauce. But it was raw and it was awesome! (rawsome!) After the "pasta" we had apples with raw almond butter and some banana ice cream. Yes, my husband is eating with me too :) He says he will try anything once LOL Can't wait to try more recipes :D

A friend of mine lent me her book for the weekend and it is awesome.... i love all the recipes. Alissa makes it simple to make good food. I think she is the Nigella Lawson of the raw world !!!
