What is your favorite wrap recipe? Is there a particular "wrap": ie: chard, lettuce that you prefer? I pretty much love all thing romaine...still adapting to green leaf lettuce...and kale...so bitter!!!

I don't know why I am so intemidated by the prospect of wraps...I see them as a fantastic staple but find that I just don't know where to start!!!

HELP!!!

I have seen some of Mattyes recipes...but still find myself wondering!!!!

thanks!!

Once I read about green smoothies I stopped juicing. I get all the fiber from the smoothies. I use spinach, kale, parsley, celery.. and I get in about 2 plus pounds a day- not to mention everything else I nosh on during the day.

I have started to do wraps too.

I do a gaucamole with avacado, tomato, onion, garlic, seasalt, cilantro and a little chili.

Then top it with some thinly sliced red or yellow pepper and a some sprouted sunflower seeds.

I would like to find some Chinese flavoured and some Indian favoured wraps to make.

I love Alissa's purple pockets...purple cabbage wraps. They're really colorful and tasty, too. I like collard wraps as well. The leaves are sturdy and much more roll-able than romaine. I love romaine, though, too! Wraps are wonderful. :)

Thanks. I was just going to look in the book today and then got distracted....the a/c guys are here putting in our new a/c and then my dehydrator arrived and I just HAD to fill it and start it strait away!

Heading to look at the book....

wondering about making a Thai version too.....maybe adding some kind of a sauce with lemon grass flavour? I have made a smoothie with added lemon grass and it was SO GOOD!

The onion bread recipe on this board makes a great wrap. I love collards, cabbage, romaine, and iceberg for wraps as well.

I rarely do wraps - when i do I use nori sheets - filled with julienned veggies and sprouts and some tahini or nut butter.
I also use savoy cabage ( softer than regular) with avocado, tahini , mushed sunflowers, raw mustard as a base and various chopped veggies - especially cucumber, green onion and dill.
I do not dehydrate anthing so bread like wrap will not interest me.
