Here are the smoothies that i make for my daughter since she started to eat
7 months is still quite young and may have problem with digestion just yet, does he have teeth???
Try this
1 C 1/4 water
1/4 C of hemp seeds (could be less)
1 C of fruit or frozen fruit (strawberry or blueberry, etc...)
5 ripped bananas
Blend full speed until creamy.
Do you still nurse, if not any formula can cause constipation, but if you don't nurse, you don't have much choice to give formula unless you can find a good recipe.
Best wishes
p.s My daughter is only on smoothies and my milk and she isn't skinny at all. She is now 2 1/2 years and have been on this food since she was 15 months. Prior to this i was trying the famous cook food and she just wouldn't go with that, she is the one that lead me back on raw food.

I was going to ask the nursing question too, as that's the most fattening and easy to digest food for little ones.

Rainbows,
Constipation can be a sign of dehydration. Is your child getting any free water (water not mixed with formula or anything else)? I just finished reading my second book written by Dr. Batmanghelidj who speciallizes in how water or a shortage of water can affect the human body. A person can drink juice, milk, sportsdrinks, or whatever that has water in it all day long but can still be dehydrated if they are not drinking enough plain old water. You can get more info at his website at watercure.com. Hope this helps.
