hi all!!! I am 38 years young and have hit my heaviest weight (210) . My husband is diabetic and supports changing our lifestyle. We have a beautiful daughter that I would love to see grow up happy, healthy and yes RAW. I have been struggling to stay RAW because of serious cooked food addictions, I know I would benefit from detox and thats where I am out at this point. I will look forward to reading all your encouraging thoughts.

Welcome! You will love Raw! Living foods are very powerful and will allow you to heal from the inside out. I have been raw for 4 months and 1 week. I've lost
35 pounds and I am healing depression, asthma and other issues.
The transition can be fun if you look at it as a new adventure and a new future full of possibility rather than a time of giving things up. Alissa's book is a great resource for the new raw family!!
Best wishes to you and your family!!

Welcome !!!!! Glad your here, Tell your husband despite what the doctors tell him with regards following the SAD diet. This is the only lifestyle that he should be following that actually works. Within 1 week I couldn't believe the difference in my blood sugars. If you need help with that . there 's quite a few diabetics here. Bye for now. Suzy:D

Wow such wonderful support!!!! This morning my daughter ate a bowl of grapes for breakfast and wanted more.:D I had my green smoothie and felt pretty good. Hotter then heck today so didnt feel like eating nothing but fruit and salad all day anyway. My husband wants me to sign up for class to learn all I can about RAW when we can afford it. I even think my friend and neighbor is ready to jump on board. And TONS OF WATER!!!! I think I'm finally listening to my body and its screaming for love. But alas it is 38 years of abuse I have to deal with :( But I'm super glad to be here :)
