Here's my favorite recipe to share:
(This originally came from The Raw Gourmet, but it has evolved with my own additions)

1 cup soaked almonds
1/2 cup soaked sunflower seeds
3-4 soaked dates
1/2 ripe banana

Cover with date water, and blend in blender (I use my Vitamix) or chop in food processor. Experiment with the amount of water. I like it plenty juicy, but others might like it drier.
Pour in bowl and top with seasonal fruit. My favorite at the moment is fresh Oregon strawberries.

YUM!!!

Variations:
Substitute other kinds of soaked nuts. Pecans are wonderful!

What is this recipe called? Is it supposed to be a cereal?

In The Raw Gourmet, Nomi Shannon calls it "Almond-Sunflower Cereal" but her recipe calls for raisins, and I use dates, and hers doesn't have bananas, and I put bananas in mine.

I love it, because it's super filling and satisfying.

I am going to try making thumbprint cookies out of it, and put sweetened berries on top, and dehydrate them. I will post the results!

I have been looking for a cereal recipe for my son who cannot have grains. This looks perfect for him. Thanks!
