I thought I would expiriment and it was pretty good.

1 stick of celery
1/2 handful of parsley
1/2 cup of mixed greens (pre-packaged salad kind with endive etc..)
1 banana

I felt good instantly. Everday I am thoroughly amazed at how much better I feel. I am not sure what the rules are about mixing bananas with greens but I think it made it more palatable. I will have to try it without.

COOL! That's great Solarliving!

Yes, it had been asked here before about the mixing of greens with fruit and it was kind of est. that it's okay as long as you FEEL okay when you drink it...that sort of thing.

I almost always use bananas, strawberries, blueberries and sometimes mango in my green smoothies. If not bananas, then the others I mentioned. But adding SOME kind of fruit makes it more palattable and enjoyable to drink those greens!

I love green smoothies and have at least one each day!

One of my favorite combinations is bananas with dates, spinach and romaine, some parsley and enough water to blend. Sometimes I add celery to this or even some carrots.

I also enjoy starting with oranges (sectioned and juiced) and then add frozen blueberries or strawberries, and greens such as romaine and spinach. Some cinnamon to taste and yum!

I have to agree that I am feeling better and am able to have longer and more strenuous workouts now that I am getting more greens this way, it works!

I love green smoothies too. I like to add a little cayenne and chlorophyll to mine.
