 You are all amazing, and I have loved all the insight I have received already on this forum. Thanks so much for all the warmth and sharing!
Water....I am never thirsty, but, I am pretty sure I should be drinking water, even with my 100% raw diet.
How much water? and while I know I shouldn't drink tap water as we are on city water with all the health(?!?!?!?!) additives like chlorine and fluoride, what should I be drinking and using? I buy distilled water, but that's just a temporary solution.
What do you all recommend? A water filter, if so, what kind?
Thanks a bunch!

I would suggest a reverse-osmosis filter. As far as how much water you should drink... that would depend on what you are eating and how much. Are you eating dehydrated fruits or juicy fruits such as watermelon? Do you drink caffeinated beverages (dieuretics) or not?
btw ~ there's a lot of controversy about drinking distilled water. You might wish to google it.
Injoy ~

I will look into a reverse-osmosis system, and will definitely read up on distilled water.
Thanks!

Hi love6kids!
Keep something in mind...true we need water, BUT, those recommended 6-8 glasses of water are geared towards a cooked food world! A world of eating foods that dry us out and store toxins up in our bodies!
But SAD eaters and cooked food eaters really do need to drink ample amounts of water. But many SAD eaters do not drink a lot of water and don't really LIKE water because they are "quenching" their thirsts with soda pop, kool-aid and bottle juices. When were eating the SAD, we hardly ever drank water. But when I made up my mind to stop buying bottles of stuff or packs of kool-aid and all we had was water, we became some of the most water-drinkin-est people!! LOL! Because that was all we had.
I, too, find that I hardly EVER thirst. Water is there for us when we thirst. One of the reasons you probably don't thirst as much is because we are getting water in the purest form. Nature is water's perfect distiller.
All of the juicy fruits and veggies we eat, give us an ample supply of water (which is one of the reasons I no longer "look down on" iceberg lettuce!).
The only time I find I desire to drink a lot of water is when I eat dehydrated foods or nuts/seeds and after eating bananas...and to me, that's kinda logical seeing that those items kinda lack a lot of water content (if any). But when I'm eating an abudance of fresh fruit and veggies, water is not really needed as much by my body. So, drink when you're thirsty...that's what I do!

I actually drink *more* water now then before I went raw. I guess because I'm not drinking coffee or soda. Maybe also, because water *tastes* so much better to me now! I used to HATE it and now I LOVE it!
