I am short on time and wondered if anyone can direct me to something quick to make with cauliflower? Thanks in advance.:)

I've made a cous cous before, putting it in the FP, chopping fine, then adding olives (green - my fav), a little EVOO and parsley. Some folks add mint. It's yum-oh!!!
It can also be used in nori roll ups. Or Alissa's mashed "taters" recipe...do you have her book?

Veganforlife, These ideas sound great! Yes, I have her book and I found the cauliflower mashed potatoes, but I didn't have the nuts on hand but that recipe sounds good with the mushroom gravy. I made coleslaw instead. Thanks!

Cool beans!
I've found that when I make the 'taters and gravy - I strain the cauliflower. After I FP it, I'll put it in a nut bag and strain the excess water off of it...really helps it...;)

Veganforlife, I will remember your tip to strain off the water - thanks. In fact thank all of you wonderful rawkers for coming up with your super help when I need it. It always takes so long to find anything doing a banana search (unless I am not doing it right?) and I just don't have that much spare time.

I find it helps to search for posts rather than threads. It makes searching a bit more streamlined.

When I search for something here on the forum, I use the actual search function key up above on the green bar. And then I'll type in whatever word, like eggless for example. Then a whole slew of threads will come up for me.
Someone had posted about straining the cauliflower for the mashed 'taters and it really helps.

shashibala, I will search for posts rather than threads, thanks for the tip. Didn't know that. Am still quite computer illiterate.

Awesome Popcorn Replacement
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For those who use Bragg's and Nutritional Yeast, this popcorn replacement is fantastic! I found it on GoneRaw.com which was contributed by YogaGyptc.
Her recipe is as follows. I do not know where the original recipe would have come from. She said she changed the recipe by adding Bragg's and Hemp Seeds.
1 cup Cauliflower
1 tsp. Nutritional Yeast
Braggs Amino Acids
Hemp Seeds
1/2 tsp. olive oil
I cut cauliflower in my desired size, added the ingredients and eat!!
When I made it I found that using approximately 2 cups of Cauliflower, 1 tsp. of Nutritional Yeast, 1 tsp. of Bragg's was all I needed. I did not add any hemp seeds or olive oil. It was AWESOME!!!!
I hope those of you that try it will enjoy it as much as I did!
