Raw in PA

Hi! I am new to raw foods. My 16 yo daughter has inspired me to go the whole way. She has been raw for 1 month and has major improvements in her health. ( She has several chronic conditions). I have 2 sons at home and a husband, none of whom desire to share this raw lifestyle with us. So, I am cooking for them and encouraging them to eat more raw than previously, but dd and I keep munching on pea pods, strawberry smoothies, chunky salads, etc. Are there any other raw foodists in the pittsburgh area?

The raw community in Pittsburgh may be on the smaller side, but it is thriving! Check out meetup.com - there is a great meetup with a monthly potluck - this past Sunday Paul Nison was in town for a talk with a raw buffet. Maggie's Mercantile just opened a raw cafe in Oakland on Craig St. and of course I am here too! :D Hooray for raw in the 'burgh! Who needs Primanti's when you've got smoothies!
