I have been dehydrating all weekend. I have a bunch of stuff done now. I am storing it in Mason jars. How long can I store them like this?
I am also making the Raw Cheese It's recipe and I wonder again how long it can be stored and is it ok sitting on a rack in a jar in my kitchen?
I also want to make another recipe I have for pizza crust. I am hoping these things once dehydrated will keep awhile.
I want to make some alfredo sauce. I will store that in the refridgerator but don't know how long it will be good. I am usually gone working during the day and don't have time to mess with a lot in the evenings.

Well, what I do with a lot of the food is freeze it. Burgers, crackers, Alissa's calzone freezes exceptionally well. Maraw's pancakes, RPs brownies, etc. You have to remember that these are fresh foods and will go bad quicker. Even with them being dehydrated. I've make pizza crusts and frozen them (by themselves) and had them ready for a quick meal. Hope this helps some.
Don't know about the Raw Cheeze Itz - curious as I'm making them this weekend.

That makes sense to freeze some of the cracker & bread type stuff. I modified the Cheese it's recipe because I didn't have all the correct type nuts. I didn't think it would hurt, and even the undried "dough" tasted great!

I made seed cheese Mon. and put it in a glass jar. in the fridge . I've been eating it all week. I usually use about a tbsp.on my salads. It seems to keep well in the fridge. Suzy:D

I picked up some mushrooms at the store yesterday. I wonder how they would dehydrate, I just don't know if I can eat them without doing something to them.

In my limited experience - flax crackers that have been made from dry flax and are very crisp after dehydrating will keep for at least a month.
soft nut burgers that are a bit moist only keep about 3 days in the fridge :(
the flax pizza crust that I made went mouldy after a week in the fridge :(
