I caught Demi Moore on David Letterman last week - to see if she would say anything about her raw lifestyle. She didn't, but she did talk about leech therapy she received recently in Austria. Says is detoxes the blood.

While I was aware leeches were used for various conditions on sick people, I didn't know healthy people were using it. Sounds kind of fringe.

Anyway, HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxK7JGUqtBE&feature=related) is a link to the youtube video of her appearance on Letterman. Forward to 3:25 to hear about her leech therapy. Four leeches to her belly button (ouch). And there's a really good black & white video of the procedure at the very end (must see).

David Letterman is so funny! Highly medically trained leaches after a turpentine bath. Wow!

OMG LEACH EZYMES!

Do you think it was all a joke?

Hmmmm

Raw+ Botox+ Leaches= Hawt babe able to mary soemone half her age:D

She looks glam. I can tell she had work on her teeth, jaw and forehead but she's still gorgeous.

Funny thin is that in the movie Ghost I though she look like a prepubescent BOY.

Revvell pass the leeches maybe they'll make my reraw detox go faster;)

Very nice-she does look great. I don't know if this is true but I heard on this forum that she is not raw or at least not entirely. I heard that she tried to prove this to the paparazzi by eating a hamburger! Who knows. The clip at the end was the best!!

Thank you for sharing :)

I dont think shes "raw" as I see her sometimes at TMZ and ET and other gossip sites and they have pics of her and Ashton and the kids at Mr.Chows and other Glam Restaurants around Hollywood.

Nice to know she's not inflicting her dietary choices on her children (for better or worse), is all I would say, on that point. Something many parents would do well to learn from.

I have been researching the Atkins diet for my nutrition class, and I would love some answers from people who have done the diet before or are currently eating this way. If you could answer some questions and tell me a little about your experience with this diet I would greatly appreciate it! How long were you on the diet, or have you been doing the diet? Did you lose weight, and how much? Would you recommend this diet to someone you are close to? I would love to hear your stories if you would be willing to share!

This is a raw vegan board for asking questions and for support in regards to going and staying raw. I imagine the best place to post your questions would be on a low-carb/Atkin's support board. ~ Cathy
