I'm new. I converted to 100% raw (or as close as I can possibly get) on March 31, 2008. I am very new to this way of life, but I like it so far. In fact, I have radical faith that this is the right way of life for me because when I asked the Universe, God, my body, call it what you will, what should I eat, raw people, raw classes, raw food, raw recipes started to "manifest" all around me. It was like the Universe shined a spot light on all things raw to bring them to my attention, and I could finally see. So that's my story...

You know something? I am so grateful that I discovered this way of life. It feels right, and so far it is really easy for me. I am having a lot of fun with it! Also, for so many years, I really believed that Atkins was where it was at, so I tried and I tried that diet many years over ... always eventually failing. Why? Because meat really grosses me out! I do not care how you dress it up, it is still just bad. Every bite of it is suspect. I must admit, however, that the detox from going 100% raw from a conventionally cooked (yet organic) diet, is not easy, but it beats the never-ending Atkins "Induction Flu" every day of the week.
