I've been thinking I'd like to try a kale salad (where you squeeze it and wilt it a bit)... but I don't care for avo (it has to be totally hidden for me to eat it)... so just wondering if you notice the avo in Alissa's Kale Salad? If so, any suggestions??

i DONT TASTE IT AT ALL, and when my husband eats it he doesn't even know its there.

You know, you don't even need the avocado in it! It is still very good. I would try it without it first and then try it with a little messaged in.

I did it both ways and they are both so good. I also added tomatoes. (I used to cook Kale with tomatoes in it )

o'kay great!!! I'll try it both ways... and maybe I'll just lessen the amount of avo used to like half or something.

I made a "goddess dressing" and it was so good.
Not sure of the exact measurments
tahini
acv
lemon
nama shoyu
sea salt

also yummy dehydrated as chips...a little messy to eat though since they get so crisp. I'd just rather have it fresh I think.

the Kale Salad recipe in Alissa's book is totally worth trying. With or without the avocado. It happens to be my favorite raw recipe that I've tried so far. I actually love avocado and needed to put more in because there wasn't enough for me. It depends on how big the bunch of kale is that you use. Try it.
