Hey everybody!
I´m a 26 year old girl from Sweden and since I don´t find so much information on being on a raw-diet on swedish I turned here! I started to read about the way of eating and it sound wonderful! But I´m a bit concerned.
I can find recipes, very delicious ones everywhere, but nowhere I find som kind of "rules" for combining the right foods to get all the vitamines and the nutrients that the body require. I would like to know how to fill the need of protein and nutrients and what things I have to eat and combine to do so...
For example what do you eat on a regular day and how much? For a whole week?
Best regards from Sweden!!

Everyone is so different. Everyone has different needs for food! But as a starting point for estimating how much food someone needs, I would recommend about 1 lb of green leafy vegetables per day, 4 cups of fruits per day, 1/4 cup of nuts/seeds per day, 1/2 an avocado per day, 1 cup of other vegetables per day, and other kinds of food (honey, superfoods, olive oil etc.) as desired. Eat when you are hungry, and stop when you are satisfied. Eat as often as you need to. Try to get a variety of fruits and veggies. The food I listed above is just a rough estimate. You will eventually find the way of eating that feels best to you. And your eating will always be changing as you are changing and as your life is changing.

Thanks!
It´s very hard becase wherever I go I see people saying things about this way to live and say that it´s not providing all you have to have. But thanks for your reply, I´m going to check it out and let my body decide if its good or bad :) But I think it´s going to thank me in many ways!
Green leafy vegetables...is broccoli and cabbage and spinach enough for "green" ?

Broccoli, cabbage and spinach are fine for greens.
When people question your diet, this is what you should tell them:
Your greens give you protein, fiber, and minerals. Your fruits give you water, carbohydrate and vitamins. The other veggies give you different colored anti-oxidants. Superfoods give you a super special boost : ) . Nuts, seeds, and avocados provide you with good fats that help build your brain and cell membranes. They also give you additional protein and nutrients.
No one will be able to doubt your nutrional knowledge : ) .
If you need more facts to back up your way of eating, try entering everything you eat in a day to www.nutritiondata.com . It will tell you whether you are meeting your daily requirements.
Also, don't let others decide how you eat! You know best what is best for you. Soon, you will be a glowing example of good health, and your friends will be going to you for nutrional advice instead of being critical of raw foods.

Thanks again!
Well I think you´re right! I stumbled uppon the Sunfood Diet Success System by David Wolfe and started to read and it was a very encouraging and positive book. Most of the times Í believe people know, that when a person changes her/his lifestyle to the better, that it´s good but question it because of fear and lack of knowledge. And maybe they feel unhealthy themselves.
I thought I show the environment instead of talking so much about what I´m doing now. So when they ask me what I´ve done.,...then I´ll tell them :)
Thanks again!
