I made Alissa's salt and vinegar potato chips last night. It made the house stink of vinegar and now the inside of my dehydrator stinks. What should I use to clean it!!

White vinegar. :p
Try soap and water or put some baking soda in it to absorb the fragrance.
I think if you wait a day, it'll disappear. Did you wash the teflex sheets?

LOL it's true! White vinegar is fantastic for cleaning. I agree that the vinegar smell should dissipate rather quickly as long as you've washed everything. You could also place a dish of baking soda in the D for a day or so and see if the soda would absorb the odor. Good luck!

I'll remember these suggestions for next time (I won't be making the salt & vinegar chips any time soon because my landlady in the adjoining house could smell it). I didn't have any white vinegar in the house because I threw everything away that wasn't raw  I guess I should've kept my white vinegar. I think I do have baking soda but once I opened the dehydrator door and let it air out for a few minutes, most of the smell went away. But thank you guys!
