I woke up this morning with watery eyes with the nortorious goop in them and "sand" around them. I admit, after about 9 days of 100% raw, I had some cooked food a few nights ago. Are these symptoms from allergies (I've never really had allergies) or from the cooked food? What do you think?

That sounds like typical pollen type allergies to me.

Definitely sounds like an allergy or an intolerance to me.

So after I'm raw for a longer amount of time the crusty stuff will most likely go away because I will have gotten rid of my allergies?

Possibly, or perhaps you have introduced a food (regardless of whether it may be raw or cooked) into your life which you may be sensitive to. Raw food isn't 'magic'. If I were you, I'd keep a food diary and, through a process of elimination (no pun intended!! :D ), try to identify what new foods you have begun eating that might be triggering your symptoms.

I would say it's the cooked food. Each time after I have eaten cooked food, I've woken up with more "gunk" in general--more gunk in my nose, more gunk in my eyes, more gunk in my mouth. I think it is more likely that your body is trying to get the toxins of the cooked food out than it is that you've suddenly developed allergies. Stick with raw and watch your eyes to see what happens. If it continues, it may be a deeper problem.
