Hey everyone..
im looking to buy a glass mason jar..can i get one at a health food store..or do i have to buy it online?
i dont really want to buy one online..but i will if i have too.
i heard this is the best thing to keep freshly made smoothies in, and then you put it in the freezer/or fridge..so it wont oxidate to much.
i need something becasue i cant make a smoothie at work! lol
but i want to drink it during my break..
thanks everyone :)
does anyone else do this??
i read sarma m. does this on the we like it raw site.

Target has them. You can also check out other stores on line and see if they have them in stock ~ Cathy

kerr is the brand i usually get. you can get them at any major superstore 9 kingsupers etc... ) i've also bought the ones at target that are fancy looking with silver lids... but it doesn't seem the same air protection as the kerr and other basic mason jar brands. they're super cheap, i store all my nuts and seeds and bulk products in them... mainly just cause i like glass better than plastic... if you aren't gonna drink your juices right away storing them in these jars is definitely the best choice

You can buy them by the case at pretty much any grocery store, but they are more common during canning season. If you want just a single jar, your best bet would be a yard sale or some place like Goodwill that sells used stuff.

To bring to work you can put them in a thermos as well.

Mason jars can be found all over the place ~ hardware stores, Smart & Final, supermarkets, etc. Very common.

agreed, they're everywhere.

i usually get them at the big craft stores (michaels, ac moore, etc) in the 'flower' department.

there in all the grocery stores over here - and very inexpensive by the case. You can always use the other jars to store nuts and seeds and stuff!
