Hi, everybody!

What is the best tool for making chips? Food processor? (The chips seem a bit thick to me.) Mandoline? Which brand? Spiralizer? Spirooli?

Thanks. It's so great to be able to turn to the experts, not someone in a store who just wants to sell me something.

Good old potatoe peeler works and allows you to control the thickness.

Kale chips require no tool at all:)

Yes, great suggestion! I've been using a peeler--nice and thin chips. When I am making chips for the family (3 ds, 3 dd, & dh), I'd like something that will produce volume in a relatively short time.

I just made a batch of sweet potato chips and used my spiralizer except with the flat blad and they came out consistently thin and crispy.

Before I used the flat blade on my food processor and they were waaaay to thick!

Oh and I have a round Ronco dehydrator with temp control that I got at wally world
