I have a Juiceman Junior on loan from my aunt. But there's no instruction manual with it, and I've never juiced before. Can someone tell me how much preparation is needed? (Peeling, slicing, etc.) I washed an orange and put it in there peel and all, but the juice was horrible. Yet, it doesn't seem to juice very well if the item is small or lightweight. Will it juice greens, (like kale or spinach)? (It's about two years old. ) Thanks!!!!

I used to have one and I juiced spinach by pushing a small handful down the chute with a slice of apple or something with it. It was always good to alternate juicy apples or cucumbers with leafy spinach or kale, etc.

I have always heard that citrus peel is VERY bitter....always peel that before putting it through the juicer!

Good luck. I liked my little juiceman jr. My dad now has it and I bought an Omega 8005....which I also love, but to begin with, the juiceman jr. was a great little juicer.

THANK YOU, WENDI! I will try alternating fruit. And no more orange peels!
