View Full Version : need help salvaging the broccomole!

I made Alissa's broccomole dip, and sadly, I hate it. I guess I just don't like raw broccoli as much as I hoped. :) I'm trying to think what I can do with it that will make it edible... any ideas? It's basically pureed broccoli with a little agave (and a few other things). I need to somehow cover up most of the broccoli taste. Thanks!

I like LOTS of Alissa's recipes -- just not this one. Nothing against the recipe, I just overestimated my enthusiasm for broccoli. :)

Maybe marinade with chopped Garlic, Olive Oil, Dash salt, lemon juice or Apple Cider vinegar or add tahini. Or smother in cheddar cheese:
1 sm Red Bell Pepper (blend 1st)
1 cup Cashews
1 tsp Salt
Lemon or Lime juice
Cayenne or Jalapeno pepper
Optional: Slice Onion and/or Clove Garlic

or make into a soup:
3 cups Water
1 cup Cashews (optional soaked)
2 cups Broccoli
1 Avocado
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp mixed Spices

THROW it into the Vita-Mix with more Fruit and Make a Green Smoothie. Have a RAW Day.......
