FloridaPatty castille soap?

You recommended castille soap to someone for better absorption of vitamin D through the skin, since it doesn't strip the skin of oils. Where can I learn more about that? I use Kirk's castille soap, but it seems incredibly drying- I feel like it definitely strips my skin of natural oils. Are there better castille soaps? And what about applying olive or coconut oil topically? Would that help dry skin produce vitamin D from the sun?
