Hmmmm, interesting idea. I've stopped watching TV during meals for some reason... but I don't eat with quite full attention. I will have to begin this to see how it affects me. :)

I've noticed that when I'm fully aware and eat a carrot, it's way better than eating a ton of raw goodies without taking the time to fully taste them. And from my experiments with eating consciously, you eat less, but taste more, and leave the table more fulfilled. So it's all good. :)

Thanks for posting that article..........I've tried it for a few meals now and it's already been helpful. I never realized before how much I never really tasted my food when I was eating since I'm usually sitting in front of the TV or doing work. It's definitely an eye opener.

i completely agree. it's something i never really took the time to notice, or even try. i started yesterday and i noticed that i taste so much more when i take my time and focus on what i'm eating and even closing my eyes, what a difference!
