Hello all,
I found a great source for cheap non sprayed, (but not certified organic due to the cost) delicious fresh dates from a small farm. I'm just trying to help out a friend. I'm not making any money from it. I've seen some posts from people who are looking for good fresh dates, so I thought I'd put this out there.
Email me via my website if you'd like some shipped soon.
Mods, I'm just trying to connect people who need dates with people who have some so I hope this post is ok. :-)
Blessings,
Audrey

Hi Audrey,
Thanks. I don't think your e-mail is activated. Also, can you post the prices for the dates?

Hi there,
I'm not sure what you mean by activated. I guess I could just post it here, though. :-). It is audrey@rawhealing.com
I think they are $8.00 per lb. They are khadrawi dates, SUPER moist and sweet, much more caramely and sweet and soft than medjools. I had some today smooshed on fuji apple slices and it tasted just like caramel apples!!! I swear!!
I think they would be shipping from Washington state.

If that truly is the price per pound of the dates, I am a little shocked. I get my dates (which are raw, organic and picked right off of the tree and put in the box to be mailed to me) for $3.00-$4.00 per pound, depending on how many pounds I get.
In case there are others out there that need to pinch every penny in order to stay raw, I thought I would let you know where I get mine...Sun Organic Farm. With the worm issue that some have had, I also wanted to let you all know that I have not found one single worm in all the dates I have ordered from them. I always order the honey dates, but they do sell seven different kinds of dates.

WOW! That is a good a price. Maybe I need to order from them if they are super yummy like these are!
In the Northwest we pay $8.00 tp $10.00 per lb for yucky conventional medjools, so these seemed like a great deal to me! :-)

Hi Andrey,
I do appreciate the info. Like Walnutty, I also get my dates around $4/lb from the DatesPeople. So, these would not be a good deal for me.... thanks anyways...
