samadhisoul: preferably a candy bar
I have made this recipe using maple syrup and Ive made it with agave and it was great. I did dehydrate them for a while but it was all I could do to keep my fingers out of it!! Hope this will help.
Chocolate Almond Butter Oatmeal Cookies
2 cups raw rolled oats
1 cup almond butter
1 cup maple syrup mixed with 1/2 c plain cocoa
A touch of vanilla
Put everything into the food processor and whirl until you have a perfect cookie dough. Dehydrate - or eat just out of the container!

JEN: maple syrup is raw??
Maple syrup is not raw but many use it occasionally. I did write in the previous post that I have made them with agave instead and they were really good. You can usually use honey or agave in any recipe that calls for maple syrup. Enjoy!!

I only have oat groats....how do I do that? I didn't think rolled oats were raw. Could I soak, dehydrate and then grind my oats to make a "powder"?? These sound really great!
Thanks
