Bad cashew?

Eeeeeeeeewwwe! I have been sitting here munching on cashews and came across one that taste li gasoline! It was gross!

I don't know if something is funky with my taste buds or what but YUCK!!!

Has anyone had this happen to them?

I love cashews but now I don't want to eat them.

I get funky tasting cashew waaayyyy too often!!! I think the ones I get are questionable... raw bulk from Whole Foods. I doubt they are really raw. Where do you get yours from? I get this moldy taste which I'm sure means they are rancid...YUCK! Now if only the good ones weren't so darn good! :)

Yeah it was disgusting and I've never had that happen before. I got this batch at the supermarket near me, they have a vendor that comes in weekly and stocks the "raw" nuts and seeds shelf. I think I'll stick to the ones I get at the local fruit center that totally RAWKS!

I love cashews too.
