Anyone know a source for turnip greens, in the UK, please?

this may not be the answer you are looking for, but if you have somewhere to grow them, they grow REALLY fast. i grew them in ireland last summer.

Thanks Kaybee. Unfortunately, I don't have that option at the moment - the only gardening I can currently do is indoor hydroponic (wheatgrass, sunflower & buckwheat sprouts etc.).

It's strange that I can walk into any supermarket or greengrocers in the UK and pick up a turnip root, but I have NEVER seen turnip greens in the UK. EVER. Bob Proctor tells an amusing story about a trip to the supermarket (in the US) with his wife, when he told her he fancied turnip for dinner, and accordingly picked up a turnip root, to which his wife responded "what are you doing with that?!". He replied "Why, I'm going to eat it, of course!", to which she retorted "where I'm from, we eat the greens of the turnip and give the root to the pigs!" Bob then retorted "Well, where I'm from, we eat the root and give the greens to the pigs!!".

Given that I've only ever seen the root for sale, here in the UK, I guess there must be a lot of turnip-greens-munching pigs in the UK, too, then...
