Inseting a link to an older/archived thead

I found some info in an old post I'd like to pass on in a reply. How do I put the link in there? When I copy/paste the location window of the results it looks weird and I don't want to pass on useless info :)

I know that Alissa doesn't really want (certain) old, archived threads re-bumped up which is why she made those where you can't post to them.

Which thread is it you're trying to link to?

I found an older thread on bipolar that I thought might be helpful to some one asking about it in their blog. (I just bananaed it) It was from 2006, titled "Being bipolar" started by aromaticwing
No huge deal, but I've often wanted to post a link to an older thread without bumping. But if Alissa prefers not, that's fine. :)
