I am struggling to be a raw foodist here in E Wa. I know NO ONE who even heard of it before. I've known about it for years and have just evolved into it. I have been about 70% raw for over a year. I really want to go 100%. I did for about 3 weeks but it is so hard when you have to cook for others and are on a budget. I am a Mom of 10 kids and I can't convince them to go raw with me. (They are over 50% raw but they don't know it.) I am so excited to have discovered an organic farm nearby that will deliver organic veggies to me each week through the spring, summer and fall season! For less than a trip to a store! I have hope for success in the coming months and hope I can find some good ideas on this site. Any one else in Spokane area?

You lucked out with that farm! Definitely try to slowly incorporate more raw food in your childrens' diets-but 50% raw is still better than the majority of what children are eating today. Good luck on your raw journey! You have a lot of responsibility and I applaud you for making your health a priority!
Be well,
Francesca

You asked for suggestions.....have you read Alissa's book and seen her DVD, they really are incredible and well worth the money. What a great thing to have front door delivery from an organic farm....that sounds like a dream come true....Good luck, Judith
