Rawmistress, your question was Ğdoes anyone know of any vegetarian, vegan or raw famous peopleğ She does eat raw meat, and she is a raw foodist. Now if you meant to say VEGAN raw foodist, you might want to rephrase the question.

Alicia however is vegan I believe, definetly vegetarian.

woody says he eats 80% raw and fasts for one week out of every month. i'd definitely call him a rawfoodist.

also val kilmer is mostly raw.

moby is a vegan.

Ok. Lets not play semantics here.
I thought it was common knowledge because this is a vegan board.
As Alissa does not like when we talk about non-raw vegans.

Come on guys! A raw foodist by "popular" definition is anyone who's diet consists of at least 70% raw foods. A raw foodist can be vegan, vegetarian or paleo (raw animal product-consuming).

So yes, Carol is a raw foodist, just not a raw vegan (and it's okay to mention her name (LOL!) we just don't discuss the whole "meat/dairy-eating issue" tis all) and if Woody eats 80-something percent (STILL haven't figured out how yall determine these exact percentages) then he can be considered a raw fooder too.

It seems to not be as cut-and-dry with raw foodism as it is with say being vegan where you're either vegan or you're not...ANY consumption of or wearing of or usage of or exploitation of animals, period means you're not vegan according to the definition. But again, if you search most places about what is "required" to be considered a raw foodist, then you'll find that whole 70% thing.

And on that note...I've heard that Ben Vereen is (not sure what % though). There's a thread somewhere on here with raw celebrities...I'll see if I can dig it up!

Not playing semantics rawmistress, but as Rawkinlocs pointed out we are not banned from mentioning names! I wasn't advocating Carol's style of eating, simple stating that she IS a raw foodist. At any rate, she is in my book!

Woody Harrilson is too, 80% is def. considered a raw foodist in my book. If you want us to name 100% raw vegans...that is a different question. One to which I would happily search for the answer to (i.e. who in the «famous world» meets that criteria, but that is a different question.
