I fell off the raw wagon and hit a few bumps on the way down. I think my body has sacrificed enough and its time for me to get back on track

We can do this...support is key ( i have found) In a few short days our bodymindspirit will thank us for the re-connection to source, and will greatly appreciate the cleanse! Thank you for joining me darling...:p

I was just thinking about this today. I can't handle a juice fast right now but I can do a green smoothie fast. Count me in.

I was actually lying awake last night thinking of all the different types of GS's I could make...I'm thinking SOUP, too!!:D

definetly green soups as well... ok team- maybe we could share what we are making as ideas and inspiration for us all. I'll start - this morning i made a truly delectable green smoothie consisting of beet greens, spinach, blueberries, 1 banana, water ice and some raw fruit salad from last nights dinner which had cucumbers, pineapple, yellow bell pepper and jicama, oh also 1/2 an avacado- its past noon and I was super hungry- its a large combo but its digesting well :)

Count me in. I am on day 5 of the juice feast and I can't afford the produce. Is 30 days too long for this fast?

Rawxstasy- 30 days would be too long for me (but your goals and body are different. My suggestion would be to plan on doing it for 30 days (get in the mindset) however- go at it daily- really check in with YOURSELF to see how you feel and look and of course why are you really doing it for 30 days. If everything checks out its a go. But be gentle with yourself :p

I'm not as hungry now so my day today looked a lot like your first day Raw Hope!!

Hi everyone,

This is my first time on the site. I just saw the green smoothie fasting you guys are doing, and even though I will be a few days behind I am going to join in. I do have a question - I am still fairly new to eating raw - probably about three weeks in. Is there any advice or anything I need to be aware of while starting a fast? I have been about 80% raw this whole time. I'm looking forward to this fast!

I thought I would list a few of my favorite smoothies. There was another "favorite green smoothie" thread and there are lots of ideas there.

Some of my faves are:

mango,peach, banana, spinach.

Banana, pear, parsley, strawberries

Banana blueberry kale strawberry

pineapple, strawberry, parsley, spinach

I love bananas as you can see. I really like the flavor of parsley. sometimes I just eat it right out of the fridge. Sometimes I mix the greens, some spinach, some parsley, some kale. I haven't yet added collard greens, I keep those for my collard veggie wraps. Even thought this is a green smoothie fast I did eat a couple of collard wraps the other night. No nuts in the dressing though, just lemon juice, garlic, ginger, acv and a tiny bit of evoo.

How is everyone else doing?
