For the last few weeks now I have had kidney pains its at its worst when I just wake up.. if I take a deep breath then that really hurts it seems as though this is the only time of day when I have them.. first I thought it might have been my bed.. but then I stayed over at a friends house and still got them in the morning..

How much water are you drinking? Are you consuming anything caffeinated?

Are you running any fever with this? This sounds quite unusual!

Have you seen a doctor about this? And has your urination pattern/amount changed at all? Good luck to you!

Um, don't take any deep breaths??!! Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I don't know how long you have been raw but it could just be your kidney's cleaning house and causing pain. You usually get pains in your lower back if it is your kidneys. Drink lots of water and cranberry juice might help. If you have a juicer, mix fresh cranberry with apple to sweeten it up.

I'm just getting over experiencing something VERY similar.
I would wake to really really bad pain in my left lower back, where my kidneys are. The pain sometimes brought me to the point of tears.
The pain was so unbearable that I did go to my Dr. and had them run a bunch of tests. I thought it was a kidney infection, but it turned out to be a kidney stone passing... ow.
I found this kidney cleanse here (http://www.falconblanco.com/health/cleansing/kidney.html). I haven't tried it yet, but I figured I'd pass along the info.
Keep drinking LOTS of fluids. Good luck.
