i just lost a jar full of garbanzo sprouts because i kept them soaking in the jar for too long.
once the sprouts have reached their 'peak', should i put them in the fridge in a tupperware container?
or are there better methods?

If I think that I have too many and I am not going to get around to using them I use them in bread or crackers.
Sprouts should aways be stored in the fridge whan sprouted. You can freeze them and then use them as an ingredent later.

make sure they are dry before storing or they will spoil faster.. you can let them dry out in a collander for a while beforehand.

fresh tastes best. if you have time, try to use sprouts right away.. you can add sprouts in general to salads or other dishes or juice them.

garbonzos/chick peas make good hummus dip or soup. add: lemon, tahini, olive oil, garlic and sea salt
