Hello guys,

how do you grind your raw cacao nibs?
I have been using a coffee grinder, but it is very slow and I don't get a good ground, only small hard pieces of cacao nibs.

Have you ever tried that Champion Juicer tool for making millet? I have read that can be used to grind coffee, but there is nothing written about cacao nibs.

Any idea?

Thanks,

I use a Braun Coffee Bean Grinder. It works perfectly for me. I don't end up with an extremely fine powder but, that doesn't matter to me because I like a little bit of crunch when eating cacao.

I do use a Kempo GreenPower Juicer not a Champion and I have never put cacao nibs through it because clean-up of the coffee grinder is much quicker for me.

That's not a whole lot of help. But, I thought I'd give an answer at least.

I tried the Vitamix, using the dry blade container. Not bad, but it took a lot of work to get it out of the bottom when it was done, I guess because of the natural cocoa butter fat making it stickier...

Ok, thank you!
I will keep using my coffee grinder, and being patient :)
