I've just became 95-100% raw. I'm not too fussed about weight gain/loss as I know it will come off in time. The only thing is that I'm so bloated! I'm not about to start my period. I've put on 1 or 2 lbs. But my stomach is so bloated and its quite uncomfortable.
i've been having a green smoothie every day. i must admit that at night, i've been OD'ing on nuts a little (bought them in bulk which isn't a good idea if you don't have loads of self control). i've been pretty regular with bowel movements but they have been quite small.
does anyone have any suggestions? my stomach is starting to protrude!!!

i have the same problem!!! i think i know the cause to mine though,,, it's fairly obvious i just don't have any self control either!
i eat well throughout the day, then when it comes to dinner i get the urge to eat EVERYTHING (mostly nuts and pecans) and try everything that i'm making at least 20 times before it even touches the kitchen table
ex: tonight, i made zucchini chip, almond nut balls, ravioli. so i tasted all of the above, as well as each ingredient seperately (especially the almond butter... ooopss...)
and now i'm extremely bloated, obviously. and although i KNOW this will happen to me, every night it seems to happen again :(
anyway sorry, i don't think i've fixed your problem, but at least you know you're not alone! and i have gone through some weeks where i don't over indulge, and only eat when i'm hungry, and listening to what my body wants to eat, and my stomach didn't bloat at all during those times! if only i could be like that every week!!

Being bloated is not uncommon. It is usually just getting used to the new way of eating. Either try cutting out some foods that you think are causing it and see if it gets better. If it does, that's your culprit. Or you could try a fiber supplement to help clean out the old colon!! :D

i'm going to cut out dried fruits and nuts after 8pm. that seems to be the time that i'm binging. and i'm going to try to just have fresh fruits and veggies for a few days and see if this blows over.

Nuts mixed with anything make me bloat. Try eating them separately by a few hours and see if that helps.
