just read in the mole post that raw makes stretch marks disappear? didn't want to hijaack that post, so am asking anyone to please share if you've had this experience?
i was told that even cosmetic surgery couldn't rid stretch marks before hearing this!
i have some and would love for them to be gone.......back to the unhealthy gain-lose-gain-lose weight stretch mark land where they came from....

I have been RAW since 1/26/08 and 100% RAW since 2/10/08 and the stretch marks that were on my behind are completely gone!!!!! It is a miracle because the skin back there and on my legs have transformed until smooth, beautiful skin just like when I was in my 20's.
Just keep at high RAW and before you know it, they will be gone.
Now, I wish my pot belly would disappear just as quickly.

Try skin brushing. Get a coarse bristle, natural brush. Brush the affected areas daily, making long strokes towards your heart. It's good for clearing up cellulite, too.

While I was still pregnant with my twins the doctor said he was sure glad that I already had stretch marks because now I had more on top of the original ones! The muscles and skin can only stretch so much before disaster! My waist went from 35 inches to 60 inches during that pregnancy! The twins are almost 23, but there is still hope! Of course, some newer ones might have shown up due to the weight gain before raw!

Mine faded from red to white due to raw, but you can still see the white. I've been raw since July 07. I dry skin brush every day. I don't mind the stretch marks now that they're not visible (except in super close up!). If they go away entirely, that would be cool, but I'm not expecting them to.

I've got lots of stretch marks and a saggy little pooch of a tummy, too. But I have a secret...I LIKE THEM! Okay, maybe not Looooove them, but they remind me that I'm a mama, and that this beautiful body made and carried and nurtured two beautiful babies. I guess my mom taught me this, she always said that stretch marks were a mother's badge of honor!
Anyway, just a different perspective!:p

That's a different -- and very nice -- perspective.
I have some scars from a horrific accident I was in, and they've never bothered me because they're evidence that I made it out alive!
My vanity, however, wouldn't mind at all if they kept on their way toward disappearing (as they are almost gone now!). ;)
