Coconut oil...

I just bought my first tub of cold pressed, organic coconut oil. Before this I was buying an organic one from Zehers. WOW... the difference is amazing!!! It smells like coconut... and seems much creamier. I'm waay happy that I spent the extra $3 lol!!!

hahaha... does it disappoint you to know that I'm using it as a moisturizer on my body :p

I use a very cheap brand to take my makeup off with and for a moisturizer. I use the expensive stuff to use in recipes. What brand did you buy?

It is so great on skin. DId you know it makes a great deodorant? After showering/washing with soap, rub some under arms. Okay, I first use one of those crystals and let that dry, just for extra insurance, but many people swear by the CO alone...

I used to like eating it but I did a one-week detox on fresh lemonade (stevia-sweetened) and spoons of raw CO (maybe 6-8 per day) and after that I have had enough of CO :-( just the smell kills my appetite.

Clare... thanks for the deodorant tip!! I've quit using mine and am currently using none or some by lush (b/c it's supposed to be all natural ingredients according to my mom). I'd like to quit using the lush b/c I'm sure it's not good for me. I'll try the CO!!!
