I wish I knew. I have had bad facial hair under my chin since having my kids. It stinks, I am constantly pulling it out and have even had laser hair removal and it didn't work.

have you ever heard of polycystic ovarian syndrome? one in ten women is diagnosed with it (and i'm one of them!) and it tracks along with increased androgen levels and an imbalance of FSH and LH. one of the very very very best things to help with PCOS is to greatly reduce the amount of sugars in your diet, and seriously up the fiber, protein, healthy fats (omega 3s especially) and antioxidants.

*i know that a dietary approach can heal PCOS because i've healed mine that way!*

off the top of my head, here are some other suggestions:

spirulina is very helpful for balancing hormone levels----and it's a great source of both omega 3s and highly digestible protein. it balances the E group prostaglandins, reducing inflammation and evening out PMS symptoms.

cinnamon is great for regulating blood sugar and insulin levels--a major help for someone with excess androgen.

stevia is also great for balancing blood sugar, and it's a sweetener that has no sugar!!! make sure that you use the dried herb though (not the white powder! it's just as refined and processed as white sugar).

but here's my most important suggestion: consult an herbalist. herbs are medicines. they are very very powerful medicines from the earth, with the potential to both help and harm. the fact that they are natural doesn't mean that they have no potential to hurt you. consult with someone who has intimate knowledge of how herbs could help you, and make all of your decisions with as much information from a skilled healer as you can get.

namaste,
