View Full Version : The marinara/squash spaghetti!

I made the marinara sauce from Alissas book and shaved the squash into spaghetti. I reconsititued my dehydrated tomatos in olive oil with garlic as rawpriestess suggested and made the sauce. I had to guess on how many of my tomatos equaled the sun-dried that the recipe called for...but, even if I guessed wrong it turned out really good. I also had to substitue olive oil for the flax oil as I didn't have any flax oil.

I'm eating it for lunch right now! I never thought i would like raw, shaved squash. This sure beats my usual salads...which i was really tiring of!


Unfortunetly, my butternut squash patties that I dehydrated...they turned out , but I totaly did not like them. Will try something different next time.

How wonderful. Yes, I love the marinara sauce.

I often use it on crackers, the squash like pasta,
pizza bread for pizza
on burgers for a meatball experience
in lasagna with a cashew ricotta cheese,
rawviolies
etc.

let you imagination run wild my dear.
