Lady Raine

Hi All! I’m Raine, wife to J for 16+ years, unschooling mom to two fabulous humans- DS age 17 and DD age 14. We own a brick and mortar game store, and sell online.
I’ll try to make my intro short. I’ve studied diet and health for some time. Stumbled upon raw a few years ago and became very excited about it. Time constraints made me drop everything for a while, and more recently I’ve been reading a fair amount of Abraham-Hicks and have come to believe that our thoughts are the most important aspect of health.
For the last year or so my husband has been mentioning raw on and off. He picked up Carol Alt’s book a few weeks ago and decided he really wants to do it. I’m behind him 100% as I still have that same excitement about it.
We both have some bad habits, smoking and an extreme love of coffee, which may present a challenge. We intend to transition in a gentle manner, without restrictions or guilt.
For myself, being pretty much sedentary from working online, and the stresses of running two businesses 7 days a week for the past 3 years, is taking it’s toll on me. I’m 35 and don’t have the energy or level of fitness that I would like. My body is making it clear that it is not content with the status quo. I’m inclined to sit up and listen.
In short, I’m here to learn from all of you who are where I plan to be, and those beginning with me. Looking forward to meeting you all. :)
