I don't do well with flax. Is there something I can substitute for it in the receipes? How about sesame seeds?

I don't care for the taste of flax in the crackers so I substituted some almond meal (left over from almond milk) the other day. It tasted really good but my crackers didn't stay together very well. I'm going to try again (I just got a new dehydrator today).
I'd say that the best part about preparing raw food is that most everything can be adjusted to "your" taste or to what you have in the cupboard. :D

Flax seed is used as a binder in recipes, usually. A good substitute would be chia seeds as they can be used to bind also
