I got an automatic easy green sprouter 1-2 years ago and TONS of sprouting seeds, I must have around 50 different seeds, but rarely sprout/eat them. I did a lot of buckwheat for pizza crusts and chickpeas for falafels, but not much else.
Some of the sprouts I have I'd like idea to eat are:
-Peas
-Beans
-Clover
-Broccoli
-Mustard (yellow, brown and black)
-Arugula
-Onion
-Garlic
-Sunflower
The onion/garlic ones are great but they take about 2 weeks to grow and when they're done I forget to do anything with them or simply don't know what to do.
I guess these would be good in salads but I rarely eat salads, maybe 6-10 salads a year mostly because I want very filling meals, but I'm sure it's possible to make a filling salad, especially with sprouts. About the only salad I eat is tomato/avocado/onion/basil salad with olive oil and lime juice and salt. Ideas other than salads would be great also.
Since I'm a little broke these days it would be great to start eating the $100-200 worth of sprouting seeds I have, yet I don't really mind keeping them for an emergency, they are obviously a great source of food for emergencies/natural disasters/etc. so I'll probably always keep a lot in stock, it's especially useful how a spoonful of seeds can "magically" turn into a few cups worth of food.
Thanks
