This is my 1st day back eating RAW in a long while and I'm doing well except that I'm really tired as I've not received that old "kick in the pants" to get me going from my daily coffee! Just shows you how powerful that drug is. Anyway I thought about making a "taco" mixture. I was wondering if anyone could tell me which the best recipe is for this? I believe it is made with walnuts? I have Matt Amsden's book and Alissa's book and some others. Or what about something with sunflower seeds? Or a mock salmon or tuna? I kind of need something easy today. Thank you all for your help!:)

Hey! Sorry Im not sure of the recipes for the things you have asked about but I think guacamole would go really well -

Avocado, mashed
Cumin (spice)
tomato, chopped
lemon juice

I think thats it! Very simple and extremely yummy :D xxx

How about some soups??? Blend and eat!
Spread some raw cheese on your bread and make a cheese sandwich to dunk in tomato soup. :p Or...
Maybe mix up some raw mayo, make a lettuce, tomato and onion sandwich. :D I just love food. I hope you find something yummy and easy to make. Welcome back!;)

Many thanks to you both - ShelShel and Seren. I found a taco meat recipe on this site from goneraw.com and I made Alissa's Broccoli Soup. I had some Onion Bread in the freezer. I am sorry to say that I didn't like any of it and I am a bit fed up at this point. But perhaps this way of eating is not for all. One thing I have learned from this board is the delicious and healthy fruit/veggie smoothies are easy to make and healthy and not expensive. If I decide to walk away from all this, I will definitely continue with the smoothies.
Thanks for trying to help me.
